sleep training ruined due to teething

My baby was 6 months old when we decided to try the cry-it-out sleep method and after 5 days he started sleeping throughout the night.  Then after 3 or 4 weeks he started teething pretty bad and it seemed that a pacifier would be the only thing that could help him going back to sleep.  This week ( at 7 1/2 months) his two bottom teeth finally erupted and he is back to waking up 4 to 6 times at night.  I am not sure when would be the right time to wean him off the pacifier?  I am afraid that all the work that we did for the sleep training may be erased.

It has been two months now, I do hope your son got over the teething hump and is sleeping better now! If he is still using the pacifier, you can wean him anytime it works for you guys. Since he was sleep trained once, the next "training" should be easier, like a reminder!

Good luck!
