My son is 27 months old.  For the past 2 weeks has started waking about 1 hour earlier then he usually does.  His current schedule is as follows:

5:45-6:00am wakes (used to be more like 6:30-7:00am)

Has cup of milk as soon as he wakes up

8:00 breakfast

10:00 snack

12:00 lunch

1:30ish nap (anywhere from 1.5 – 3 hours)

3:00-3:00ish snack

5:30 dinner

8:00 bed

anyone have any suggestions of what to tweek to have him sleep in a little longer?  Thanks!Laugh

That sounds like bliss to me. My toddler (now 2 1/2yrs) Has always been an early riser. Any time between 5am and 6:30am at the very very latest. AND she doesn't have a nap during the day. Could you try and limit the length of his nap to 2 hours maximum? When my daughter did day nap I couldn't let her sleep past 3pm as otherwise she wouldn't settle or sleep well at night. Have you tried bringing him into bed with you for an extra hour? It's probably a phase that will pass and my advice would be that if you can't change it, work with it and appreciate the fact that if you get up with him you can have all the housework done by 7:30am!
