My 2 and a half year old girl has been getting up at 6, 6:30 for the past year or so. Now she started getting up at about 5, 5:30, for the past month. It does not matter whetehr I put her down at 7 or 8, or whether she has a nap or not.

She usually has an hour nap, and goes to sleep at 8….

 

any suggestion?

Early waking can be a common problem. Without knowing too many details of her schedule, my suggestion would be to try and shift her entire schedule. It doesn't generally help to just move her bedtime, but what is more helpful can be a shift of her entire day and bedtime. That is, work on moving her naps along with her bedtime to create a change in her wake up time.
