Hi there,

First off, this site is amazing and I've come back so many times for help/ reassurance!

I have 8.5 month old fraternal twins who are now on a pretty good 2/3 nap, 11 hours at night sleep schedule. They're pretty small, but big eaters, so we have been doing a dream feed at about 11 pm every night now, for about 3 months.

I BF except for the last feed of the day and the dream feed and never used formula for my older DD, so I'm lacking in knowledge about formula feeding.

My question is this — how much formula should we give them in their last feed of the day, right before bed?

They eat dinner at about 4:30 pm. I was giving them 4 oz of formula at 6:30pm, then the dream feed was about 8/9 oz at 11 pm. They sleep until about 6 am. They eat three meals a day and BF 4-5 times, pretty much on demand. 

I've switched to 6 oz at 6:30 pm / 6 oz at 11pm, and I'm about to switch to 8 oz/ 4 oz. 

What's a normal amount of formula for bed-time for 8 month olds? I don't want to overfeed them and make them sick, but we want to drop the dream feed by the time they're 9 or 10 months.
