Hello!  I posted the thread above this one, but I'm hoping this one might get answered since I'm making it short and sweet. :)  In the e-book it talks about extending the awake time by 15 minutes each day until you arrive at your desired nap time.  Do you do this even if your child is over tired and isn't making it a full hour for his/her nap?  Or, do you only extend with a successful nap?

Sorry for the delay in a resonse…Nicole typically recommends that you do not let him make up sleep and to continue with your plan even if it was not a successful nap.

Of course, if he's really tired and it's just intolerable or if he's teething or something, then perhaps, you call it good for that day and start over the next day.
