My dear son will be 8 months next week. We were going through some wonderful times were he was taking huge two hour naps without much fight.
All the sudden, everything started to change. He is fighting naps and he's been crying a lot while trying to take a good nap. It's been very disheartening for us. I believe all this chaos started after the daylight savings time change and altough we're not sure, we also think that teething might be adding to it. We're so lost again!
We keep following Nicole's advice about putting him down when he shows signs of tiredness which for us is always crabbyness. As soon as he starts getting fussy we putting him down for a nap. It seems that he gets tired after 40-50 minutes of being awake. We though that by this age, he would be staying awake for longer periods like 2 hours. It seems to me that all we try to do during a given day is getting him to nap and we actually see him or interact with him very little. We're worried that when he will get time to do all the developmental things he is supposed to do like crawling and all that when all we do is trying to get him sleep. Please help!

Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated.
